Hokkien Noodle Stir-Fry with Rump Steak

 Speedy Hokkien noodle stir fry with beef rump steak, absolutely delicious!




Serves: 3








Ingredients

  • 450 grams fresh noodlles Hokkien, thin 
  • 370 grams Australian beef rump steak, sliced into strips
  • 2 cups cabbage, sliced
  • 1 cup capsicum, sliced into strips
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped 
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ cup salt reduced beef stock
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.







Method

  1. Slice the beef rump steak into strips.
  2. Season the beef with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Prepare the Hokkien noodles according to package instructions.
  4. In the medium deep pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat, then  sauté the garlic and onion until soft.
  5. Add the beef and stir fry for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the capsicum and cabbage and stir fry for 3 minutes. 
  7. Pour the beef broth and soy sauce. Let it boil for a minute.  
  8. Lastly, add the prepared noodles and mix gently until the sauce is reduced.
  9. Serve warm!
