Quick Beef Sizzle Steak Tapa

The beef tapa is so easy to make and flavourful! "Tapsilog" can be serve as all-day breakfast. It consists of Filipino beef tapa, garlic fried rice and sunny-side-up egg.

Ingredients


  • 248 grams Australian beef sizzle steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon garlic. finely chopped
  • 1.5 tablespoons Kikkoman Sushi & Sashimi Soy Sauce or regular soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice or calamansi juice
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extravirgin olive oil

Method


  1. Slice the sizzle beef steak into thin strips. Set aside.
  2. Place the beef into a bowl.
  3. Add garlic, soy sauce, sugar and lemon juice and mix well. Season with freshly ground pepper.
  4. Marinate beef for 10 to 20 minutes in the fridge.
  5. In a frying pan, heat the oil in a medium-high. 
  6. Pan fry the marinated beef and cook until brown or the sugar caramelized slightly.
