Pesto Sunny Side-Up Eggs for Breakfast

Pesto egg a quick and easy breakfast idea!





Serves: 2





Ingredients


  • 4 tablespoons of Land Cress and Spinach Pesto 👈 
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 2 pieces sandwich bread white 
  • 2 pieces sandwich cheese
  • butter for spreading




Method


  1. Add the pesto to a non-stick pan. Spread it around and heat up a bit.
  2. Crack the eggs into the pesto.
  3. Cover the pan and let the eggs cook in medium-low heat until the vitelline membrane or clear casing that encloses egg yolk become cloudy in color, 3 to 4 minutes approximately.
  4. Meanwhile, spread a butter in the bread. Then top with cheese. Place it under the oven grill until the cheese melted a bit.
  5. Remove the bread with cheese in the oven grill,
  6. Place the pesto egg on top.
  7. Serve warm.
