Sweet Chili Garlic Prawn

King Prawn Green are rich in flavour. It's finger licking good when cooked with butter, garlic and sweet chili sauce. Easy to make seafood recipe.





Serves: 2


Ingredients

  • 500 grams King Prawn Green
  • 5 cloves of garlic (big size), crushed using mortar and pestle
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 3 tablespoons of Fountain Sweet Chili Sauce 
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste


 Method 

  1. Clean the prawns. Trim the antennae and legs in the head area and devein. Lastly, rinse well with clean cold water and drained.
  2.  Season the cleaned prawns with salt.
  3. Add the oil and the crushed garlic into cold pan. Turn on the stove into medium heat. Saute the garlic until light brown, then add the butter.
  4. Add the prawns in the pan and cook for 5 minutes. Season with freshly ground pepper. Then, add the Fountain Sweet Chili Sauce and water. Coat the prawns with the sauce. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes or until cook.
  5. Serve immediately with steamed rice.
