Garlic Grilled Australian Bonito
Australian bonito is available year round, with peaks from March to June. This seafood recipe is so easy to make!
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 2 whole Australian bonito, butterfly cleaned and gutted
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 head of garlic , peeled and crushed
- salt to taste
Method
- Using mortar and pestle crush the garlic into paste then add olive oil and salt to taste.
- Brush the flesh with the garlic paste and grill on the oven for 30-40 minutes or until cook. Remove from the oven.
- Serve immediately with a fresh salad or rice.
