Ensaladang Pipino (Cucumber Salad)
Serves: 2
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar with the mother
- 1 piece shallot, sliced
- iodized salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 teaspoons sugar
Method
- Washed thoroughly the cucumber with clean water.
- Slice the cucumber and put them into a bowl.
- Combine apple cider vinegar, sliced shallots, sugar, iodised salt and pepper to taste. And mix it well.
- Pour the dressing to the cucumber and toss it.
- Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to let the flavors absorb by the cucumber.
- Serve it cold.
