Ensaladang Pipino (Cucumber Salad)






Serves: 2

Ingredients
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar with the mother
  • 1 piece shallot, sliced
  • iodized salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
Method
  1.  Washed thoroughly the cucumber with clean water.
  2. Slice the cucumber and put them into a bowl.
  3.  Combine apple cider vinegar, sliced shallots, sugar, iodised salt and pepper to taste. And mix it well.
  4. Pour the dressing to the cucumber and toss it.
  5. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to let  the flavors absorb by the cucumber.
  6. Serve it cold.
