Fig is an ancient fruit, the earliest plant that man cultivated.
- 352 grams figs
- 281 grams brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 piece of freshly squeezed lemon (small size)
- Cut the figs into slices.
- In a pan put the water and boil gently until the fruit is soft.
- Add the brown sugar and lemon juice, stirring well to prevent sticking.
- Boil gently until thick and reaches the jell point.
- Pour into sterilized jar.
