Freshwater Scampi, Simply Cooked in Soy sauce!
I love freshwater scampi! I would say that this is my dad "catch-of-the-day" on which always turn to a good dish.
Scientifically it was called Macrobrachium rosenbergii, also known as the giant river prawn, giant freshwater prawn, Malaysian prawn, freshwater scampi, or cherabin. It was caught at Laguna Lake then straight in our kitchen for cooking :).
The boiled freshwater scampi was simply cooked in
soy sauce with vinegar, chili flakes and sugar to taste. Then ready to
serve with warm rice!
Enjoy eating and GOD Bless!
