Fiddlehead Fern Salad With Salted Egg (Ensaladang Pako)

Thank GOD! I got  one day vacation today.  It just happened that one of my friend Ate Gemma gave me an organic fresh fiddlehead (pako).  So I made Fiddlehead Fern Salad or Ensaladang Pako in tagalog.

The last time I tasted pako was during the time I was still in MLM Foods, Ate Mitch usually brings ginataang kuhol with pako from San Pablo, Laguna.  I really enjoyed eating this with some of my friends :).

The ingredients  are the  following:


  • Organic fresh fiddlehead fern (blanch)
  • Vinaigrette
  • Salted egg
  • Fresh onion

My family love this simple recipe.  I hope you can try it also in your kitchen.
